A different approach to upright sleep

Why ordinary travel pillows still leave you uncomfortable

Traditional pillows add bulk around your neck but can still let your head fall forward. The sling supports your head against the seat while keeping your neck and personal space free.

The sling anchors to the airplane headrest and creates an adjustable support point behind your head. As you relax, the seat helps carry the resting weight instead of your neck repeatedly catching the forward drop.

FAQ

Everything you need to know before your next flight

It is designed for standard airline headrests that have a gap behind them. Check that your seat's headrest has a gap before you fly.
It doesn't modify the seat: it straps around the headrest with removable buckles. Cabin crew may ask you to remove it during takeoff and landing, as with a neck pillow, so follow crew instructions.
A padded headrest strap with a sleep mask attached.
Try to leave a little slack in the straps so your head can rest at a slight natural angle instead of being held straight. Comfort varies from person to person.
The eye mask connects to the sling strap with velcro panels. Padding gives your eyes room, and the fit is adjustable (head circumference 21.3 in to 29.9 in). You can also detach it and use it as a standalone sleep mask.
It folds flat and zips into its own compact case, so it fits in a backpack or carry-on.
